Biography

Bruce DiCristina is a Professor in the Department of Criminal Justice at the University of North Dakota.  He received a Ph.D. in Criminal Justice from the State University of New York at Albany.  His research interests center on the history of criminology and the philosophical foundations of criminological inquiry.  He is the author of Method in Criminology (Harrow and Heston), the author/editor of The Birth of Criminology (Wolters Kluwer), and has published articles in Theoretical Criminology, Justice Quarterly, Journal of Criminal Justice Education, International Criminal Justice Review, Critical Criminology, British Journal of Criminology, Australian and New Zealand Journal of Criminology, and several anthologies.
