Callie Siverson

Biography

Callie Siverson Oberheu has lived in Manitoba since 2004, when she joined the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra as third horn. She has built a thriving career as a performer, teacher, and clinician in Canada and the United States. She performs with many area music groups and chamber ensembles, including the Manitoba Chamber Orchestra, Royal Winnipeg Ballet, Manitoba Opera, Rainbow Stage, Brandon Chamber Players, and the Canadian Bacon Woodwind Quintet.

Callie attended the University of Southern California in Los Angeles and Rice University in Houston, Texas; where her primary teachers included Los Angeles film studio legend Vincent DeRosa, jazz hornist Richard Todd, and orchestral audition specialist William VerMeulen.
