Biography
In Devon's work, she focuses on grounding information literacy instruction within the historical, cultural, and socio-economic contexts which inform western knowledge practices. She is interested in the role of disciplinary epistemologies in the information literacy practices of health sciences students and practitioners. She enjoys bike-commuting to work, sewing, and reading. In the summer you can find her in her yard, slowly replacing every inch of grass with a native plant.
