Biography
Edward N. Steadman is the Vice President for Research at the EERC. In this role, he oversees the activities of a team of scientists and engineers focused on research, development, demonstration, and commercialization of energy and environmental technologies that address the EERC’s core research priorities: coal utilization and emissions, carbon management, oil and gas, alternative fuels and renewable energy, and energy–water. Mr. Steadman’s principal areas of interest and expertise include carbon sequestration, enhanced oil recovery techniques, and chemical transformations during coal combustion. He holds an M.A. degree in Geology from the University of North Dakota and a B.S. degree in Geology from the University of Pennsylvania-Edinboro. In addition, he has authored or coauthored numerous publications and given presentations on a variety of topics to audiences throughout the United States and around the world.
