“My greatest passion lies in working with students. Helping students identify their personalized goals, and match their actions/behaviors to their core beliefs and values, is extremely rewarding. Each person is unique, which keeps me learning every day! Through a warm, relational, compassionate, and strengths-based approach, I meet students where they are at, using evidence-based practices such as: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma Focused-CBT, Managing and Adapting Practices (MAPS), and Motivational Interviewing, as well as aspects of Art, Play, & Family Systems Therapy. I firmly believe in building upon a student’s strengths to instill hope, foster positive relationships, and/or elicit change. A trusting environment is key!”
