Biography
Julie Grabanski, PhD, OTR/L is currently an associate professor in the Department of Occupational Therapy and serves as the Doctoral Experience Capstone Coordinator for the Grand Forks, ND site. Julie has been an occupational therapist for over 30 years with over 20 years of experience in higher education roles. She earned her PhD in Occupational and Adult Education in 2014, and has clinical experience working in acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, skilled nursing, home health, and outpatient pediatrics. Her professional areas of interest include the use of occupation with community populations, rural health care settings, OT/OTA collaboration and interprofessional collaboration, working with adults with neurological impairments, and functional cognition.
