Biography
Karrianna Iseminger, OTD, OTR/L, CHT is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Occupational Therapy. She earned a B.S. degree in Business Administration, Marketing from the University of Arizona and an occupational therapy doctorate (OTD) degree from Creighton University. She is currently working toward a PhD in Educational Foundations and Research at the University of North Dakota. Prior to joining the faculty full-time in 2019, she earned her certified hand therapist (CHT) credential and worked primarily as an occupational therapist in the hand therapy practice context. At that time, she also worked as an adjunct instructor for Creighton University teaching an upper extremity evaluation and intervention lab. She currently serves as the Representative for North Dakota in the Representative Assembly for the American Occupational Therapy Association. She also serves as the faculty advisor for UND's chapter of the Coalition of Occupational Therapy Advocates for Diversity (COTAD). Dr. Iseminger is grateful for the time in the classroom teaching and learning alongside students and enjoys collaborating on scholarly projects with students and community agencies.
