The research carried out by Dr. Iancu aims to better understand the decomposition process related to the colonization pattern of necrophagous insect species and associated bacteria, during extreme temperatures, to create a preliminary data base for crime scene investigations in North Dakota, on the postmortem analysis in an outdoor environment.
