Greetings from the Alumni Association & Foundation
Congratulations on becoming the newest members of the UND alumni family, now more than 120,000 strong.
The UND Alumni Association & Foundation will help you stay connected and engaged with the campus and the many friends you made here.
The UND Alumni Association began with the first graduating class in 1889. The eight graduates met after the commencement ceremony on June 13, making plans to stay in contact and to return for visits to the campus.
The Alumni Association remained an informal organization until 1915, when it was incorporated under the laws and state of North Dakota. Keeping classmates in contact with each other and with the campus, and supporting ongoing growth and development of the University were the stated goals in our Mission Statement. These goals remain unchanged.
You are now an integral part of a UND alumni family that is strong, well connected, and passionate about this great University. We look forward to continuing our relationship as you continue to make an impact on UND. Together, we will continue to build on a proud history of excellence.
Sincerely,
DeAnna Carlson Zink, '86
Chief Executive Officer
