Meet the Vice Provost for Undergraduate Studies & Student Success
As the Vice Provost for Undergraduate Studies and Student Success, Karyn works to ensure the academic success of UND’s undergraduate student population. Her team includes professional academic advising, the experiential learning center, career services, learning services and tutoring, testing services, study abroad programs, the Honors program, and institutional assessment and accreditation. Vice Provost Plumm and her team work to support student success through:
- A collaborative model for academic advising which includes a centralized group of Academic Core Advisors (ACAs) who work in partnership with local college professional advisors.
- Continuous improvement of the transfer student experience including establishing transfer agreements with two-year institutions as well as the AU-ABC program with the Community College of the Air Force.
- Connecting students to the various campus resources that are available that aid in their success.
- Connecting students with workforce integrated learning opportunities to prepare them for a successful career path.
As a first-generation college student, my aim is to provide excellent academic support services to all students that assist them in achieving their individual academic and career goals.Vice Provost Karyn Plumm
