Net Price and Financial Aid Estimator
UND recognizes that the cost of education plays a major part in a student's decision-making process. To assist you with planning, the Student Financial Aid Office is providing you with this estimate of the net price of attending UND and your financial aid eligibility for the 2011-2012 academic year.
Please read.
By clicking the button below, I acknowledge that the estimate provided using this calculator does not represent a final determination, or actual award, of financial assistance, or a final net price; it is an estimate based on a previous year. Price of attendance and financial aid availability change year to year. The estimates shall not be binding on the Secretary of Education, the University of North Dakota, or the State of North Dakota.
Students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) in order to be eligible for and receive, an actual financial aid award that includes Federal grant, loan, or work-study assistance. For more information on applying for Federal student aid, go to www.fafsa.gov.

How Much Will It Cost?
This is a general estimate of undergraduate student expenses during a nine-month college year, based on 2010-11 costs. All charges are subject to change and do not include personal expenses, flight/aviation expenses, or various course fees (lab, etc.). Tuition is based on a flat rate for full-time students (12-20 credits/ semester).

Other Circumstances
- Military - Veterans, Active Duty (any state), and their dependents (any state) pay in-state tuition
- Non-Resident dependents or spouses of graduates of a North Dakota University System campus pay 150% of in-state tuition. Click here for more information
- Dependents of benefited UND employees pay 50% of in-state tuition
Minnesota Reciprocity
Students do not have to reapply for reciprocity if they have graduated from a Minnesota High School or earned credits at UND in the previous 12 months. If the student must apply for reciprocity, he/she must do so through the State of Minnesota.
If the student applies late for reciprocity and does not receive confirmation of eligibility by the beginning of the term, the student will be required to pay non-resident tuition at the time of fee payment.
However, a refund of non-resident fees will be made if confirmation of reciprocity eligibility is presented to UND Student Account Services prior to the end of the term.
