Healthy UND Physical Activity Subcommittee
Subcommittee Description:
The Healthy UND Physical Activity Subcommittee is dedicated to promoting and providing opportunities and infrastructure for physical activity that are safe and accessible for the UND community. Various efforts that have been promoted include the Indoor Walking Paths, Healthy Campus Challenge, and encouraging stair use instead of elevator use. Some future programs and promotions we hope to launch include additional Indoor Walking Paths, Active Learning Manuals for all academic departments, and outdoor educational walking paths.
The Healthy UND Physical Activity Subcommittee is made up of a group of students, faculty, and staff Healthy UND Coalition members. For more information on how to get involved with this subcommittee please contact Stephanie Hoffman

Healthy Campus Challenge
The Healthy Campus Challenge is put on by the Healthy UND Physical Activity Subcommittee. The challenge is designed to get more people exercising in ways that are convenient and fun for them. The challenge will run the entire academic year and is open to all faculty, staff, and students of UND and registration for each event will occur when the event takes place.
At the end of the year, we'll crown Healthy UND Physical Activity Champions to those that participate and complete the most events.
