Health Promotion
Dedicated to supporting your pursuit of a healthy & well-balanced life!
Health Promotion offers resources and education to encourage well-being within the campus community. Our programs and student Peer Educators help you navigate a variety of topics within the 7 Dimensions of Wellness and educate on how to lead a balanced life. We strive to create a campus environment to support students’ academic goals by promoting health and wellness.
Programming
The Health Promotion Office is dedicated to supporting the overall wellbeing of UND students. Our team focuses on the many factors within the campus community that influence student health & success.
We develop programs, campaigns, & resources that address key areas of student wellness, including:
- Mental Health
- Sexual Health
- Alcohol & Drug Education
- Nutrition
- General Health Topics (sleep, time management, & overall self-care)
To ensure quality & effectiveness, all of our Health Promotion programs & education efforts align with the American College Health Association Standards of Practice for Health Promotion in Higher Education & the Council for the Advancement of Standards in Higher Education.

Care Kits are free wellness resource kits available to UND students. Each kit includes supplies and information designed to support a variety of wellness needs. Students can request a Care Kit using the form below, and kits will be delivered to a convenient campus location for pickup.
Home of the Toilet Talks
The Toilet Talk is a bi-monthly publication created by the Wellness & Health Promotion department to educate the UND community about important health-related topics. They are distributed on a monthly basis to most buildings on campus.
If you would like the Toilet Talk to be distributed in your building, email us at UND.hwhub@UND.edu.
