Our goal is to empower students to achieve their academic and personal goals through education, promotion, role modeling, and advocacy of healthy choices. Through collaboration with the campus and community, we promote an environment which encourages health and wellbeing, and enhances the quality of life of the university.
Peer Educators
We achieve our goal through the use of Peer Educators. Peer Educators are student staff who are trained in a variety of health and wellness topics. Speaking with a peer creates a welcoming, friendly environment aiding students in tackling some of their toughest life choices.
The members of our Peer Educator staff also do programs, presentations, and outreach on each of their topic areas. To request a program or presentation, complete our request form, give us a call, or stop by our office.
Night Life
The Health & Wellness Education office is also the home of Night Life. Night Life is a collaborative effort of UND's free late-night events on Friday and Saturday evenings 9PM-12AM. Working closely with the University Programming Council, Lifetime Sports, and the Wellness Center (just to name a few), Night Life hosts a wide variety of events ranging from comedians and live music, to movies, crafts, and much more. There is always free food and we are always looking for new ideas.
Student organizations are also welcome to host events at Night Life- to host an event, please submit a Night Life request form. For more information, please contact our office and ask to speak to our Night Life Coordinator.
