What is a Living & Learning Community?
A Living & Learning Community is a theme housing option which explores a topic or interest area and you live with people sharing this interest. It's all about finding a group of people to talk with and to do things with, having a sense of belonging, and having the freedom to explore and discover. It's about living and learning together!

Honors Community
Honors students have the option of residing in Honors Housing in Johnstone or Fulton Hall. Students in the Honors community participate in special Honors activities and projects, and extend the learning community of Honors to their residence hall by living with their fellow Honors students.
Requirements:
- Must live in Johnstone or Fulton Hall
- Must be enrolled in Honors Program
A.I.S.S. (American Indian Student Services)
The AISS Living and Learning Community is a distinctive living option that takes academics into the residence halls through advising and referral services, tutors, and special opportunities to interact with fellow students and staff at UND.
Benefits:
- Advance notice of and special invitation to AISS events
- Close proximity to the American Indian Center
- Activities: game nights, on-site tutoring, visits from AISS staff
Requirements:
- Must live in Brannon Hall
- Must enroll in Introduction to University Life
