Where To Use The Card

Your ID Card may be used at any Campus Service requiring identification.

For certain activities, your ID is required to be shown:

• When checking out books at the Chester Fritz Library
• To gain admission to athletic events.
• For meal plan holders to enter any of the three Dining Centers
• Using the Wellness Center in Hyslop or the All-Around Fitness Center in Bek Hall
• When voting in student elections.

The debit account feature allows you to make purchases at these on-campus locations:

Account - a 'bucket' of money or spending allocation that declines as you spend it at selected campus venues

Meal Plan Account - A pre-paid meal plan offered to on/off campus students with unlimited access or a specified number of meals. The Dining Centers can assist with meal plan questions or concerns or call Dining Services Administration at 701-777-3823.

U Ca$h (U Ca$h, Debit Account) - A stored value account that is accepted as a method of payment utilizing the U Card for campus purchases at selected retail outlets. This account is non-refundable between or during semesters and cash cannot be issued at an time. U Ca$h funds are valid until the patron graduates, withdraws, or terminates employment. To request a refund, the patron must complete a Request for a Refund application at the U Card Office. Upon verification of graduation, withdrawal, or termination of employment, the remaining balance in the U Ca$h Account will be credited to the patron's University Account through Student Account Services. Funds left in an individual account will revert to the U Card office after two years after becoming inactive.

UnipriNT Account - An allocation of printing funds offered by Student Government. Each registered student receives an $8.00 printing allowance each semester to be used in selected computer labs throughout campus. The $8.00 is to be used for printing only and if allocation has been spent before the end of the semester, cardholders can deposit additional U Ca$h funds for continual printing. Any remaining balance of the UnipriNT account, will expire at the end of the semester if not used. NO refunds will be issued for this account.

Access/or Services - Present card to gain access into UND events, access to various UND buildings, and/or access to select UND services.
