Parking is temporarily limited. There is a shuttle service for select events.
Parking for Events at the Chester Fritz
Due to a surge in student enrollment and other exciting campus developments, event parking within walking distance of the Chester Fritz Performing Arts Center (CFPAC) is temporarily limited for the 2024-25 year.
In response, we have set up a free shuttle service for these select events:
- Dancing for Special Stars - April 15, 2025
Free Shuttle Service
To take a shuttle to the Chester Fritz Performing Arts Center, park at the Ralph Engelstad Arena (REA).
- Shuttles will make continuous loops from the REA to the CFPAC, dropping attendees off on the corner of University Avenue and Yale Drive.
- Shuttles begin 1.5 hours prior to showtime and continue until all attendees have been dropped off.
- After the show, attendees will get back on the shuttle in the same place they were dropped off to be brought back to their vehicles at the REA.
- Please arrive early to accommodate for the shuttle time.
Alternative Parking Options
For other events that are not listed above, non-ticketed events, or as an alternate to the shuttle, attendees may park in neighboring UND lots. These lots will not be ticketed during CFPAC events.

Facilities Management Lot (3791 Campus Rd)
- Approximately 10 minute walk / .4 miles
- 80 spaces available
Burtness Theatre Lot (281 Centennial Dr.)
- Approximately 7 minute walk / .3 miles
- 111 spaces available
Lot on Corner of Oxford St and University Ave
- Approximately 8 minute walk / .3 miles
Event Parking Tips
- Plan ahead and arrive early! Make sure you arrive early for your show, so you have adequate time to get to the CFPAC building.
- Please consider carpooling and curbside drop-off at the door.
- Handicap-accessible parking will remain available at the Chester Fritz Performing Arts Center.
