The ND Infection Prevention Conference is a two-day conference intended to provide education in infection prevention to professional staff who have an interest in or responsibilities related to the infection prevention field in North Dakota and the surrounding areas.

Travel Reimbursement Also Available!
In an effort for expenses not to be a barrier to attending this valuable workshop, the North Dakota Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) plans to offer reimbursement. If you would like to be considered for travel reimbursement, please indicate so when prompted on the registration form.
You will be responsible for making your own travel arrangements. It is also expected that you will pay for your expenses, and HHS will reimburse you after the event. A company or facility credit card cannot be used to receive reimbursement. The individual attending the conference is reimbursed therefore a personal credit card should be used. The following is a summary of covered expenses:
- Hotel – Will reimburse up to $105 per night, covering a maximum of two nights, at
a hotel of your choice. Original hotel receipt is required.
And/Or - Mileage – Will reimburse the state rate of $0.67 per mile for round-trip travel from town of residence to Bismarck, ND.
The North Dakota Department of Health and Human Services will reimburse up to a maximum of $500 for combined Hotel and Mileage expenses.
Conference Objectives
- Identify important components of a successful facility-wide infection prevention program and how to perform an annual risk assessment
- Learn to evaluate and recommend updates to protocols for Infection Control and Prevention processes
- Discuss and know the role of infection prevention staff for success - It takes a team!
