How do I get started with counseling services at UCC?
All students enrolled in the current semester can call UCC at 701-777-2127 to schedule an Initial Assessment to discuss their presenting concerns and the services available to them.You are also able to schedule your first appointment through the UND Health Portal.
How much do counseling sessions cost?
All of our basic services (Individual Counseling, Group Counseling and Workshops, Emergency Counseling Sessions, Personal Evaluations, and Case Management) are covered under student fees.
Our enhanced services (BASICS, Substance Use Prevention and Intervention (SUPI) , and Alcohol and Drug Evaluations) do have fees associated with the appointments. Please see Substance Use for the most up to date information.
How long is a typical session?
Each session lasts about 45-50 minutes.
