ICWA Workforce Training

Archived Trainings

Recorded webinars can be viewed as ongoing workforce educational opportunities. Social Work Continue Education Credits are only available for attending live sessions.

ICWA: Letter of the Law

Attendees will gain the ability to understand and apply the Indian Child Welfare Act Federal Regulations and Guidelines as it pertains to Application & Verification of Emergency Removal; Informal and Formal ICWA Notice; Jurisdiction; Preferred Placement; Active Efforts. In addition, learners will engage in best practices when providing services to Indian FamiliesLearners will understand and learn ways to work with the Tribal programs and entities on and off the reservation.
