The North Dakota ICWA Family Preservation Partnership

The North Dakota ICWA Family Preservation Partnership, a dedicated coalition of Tribal Nations, State and Non-Profit organizations, and community stakeholders, including families, schools, law enforcement, and many other care providers working together to create systemic change and achieve better outcomes for Native American families. Our partnership includes the Mandan, Hidatsa, and Arikara Nation (Three Affiliated Tribes), the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Indians, the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe, the Spirit Lake Sioux Tribe, the North Dakota Department of Health and Human Services: Children and Family Services, the North Dakota Supreme Court: Court Improvement Program, the Native American Training Institute, and the University of North Dakota: Social Work Department. By uniting these diverse entities, we strive to provide comprehensive and collaborative support to families, fostering a network of care that honors and strengthens our communities.

Our mission is to drive systemic change, make reparations for past injustices, and empower Native American families to achieve unity, equity, and wholeness while respecting their rights and heritage."
