The School of Graduate Studies is excited to welcome you with a student reception, a welcome picnic, and other fun events designed to help you connect with the UND community.
New and returning School of Graduate Studies students are invited. RSVP is required.
New Graduate Student Reception

9:30 - 11:15 a.m.
Gershman Graduate Center
- For all new graduate students
- Check in at the green tent by 10:15 a.m.
- Program begins at 10:30 a.m. in Nistler College of Business & Public Administration, Room 121
Graduate Student Welcome Picnic
Monday, August 24
11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Gershman Graduate Center
- For all new and returning graduate students
- Check-in at the green tent to pick up a meal ticket
- Welcome remarks from Dr. Soojung Kim, Dean and Dr. Art Malloy, VP for Student affairs at 12 p.m.
In the event of rain, picnic will be moved to the second floor of the Chester Fritz Library (Reading Room 225). If location changes, an email announcement will be sent.
Online Graduate Student Social
