Center for Innovation Incubator Workspace
The Center’s incubator features workspace for entrepreneurs in the Ina Mae Rude Entrepreneur Center. Turnkey offices and flexible licensing arrangements accommodate the unique needs of faculty, staff, student and non-university startups. Staff expertise in business incubation further supports the Center's role in leading commercialization, helping the University to identify, translate, and develop opportunities with its intellectual capital. Additionally, the Center for Innovation creates University partnerships with the private sector.
Employer Opportunities
The UND Center for Innovation and the Grand Forks Region Economic Development Corporation (EDC) jointly sponsor InternGF to increase the number of local internships in early stage and innovative companies and in EDC member organizations that provide internships not routinely found in our region. Eligible employers can receive funds to offset interns' salaries.

Entrepreneur Support
The Center for Innovation helps entrepreneurs access talent at the University of North Dakota to grow their ventures. The incubator also hosts the University Center for Autonomous Systems, an initiative to expand the autonomous systems innovation cluster in northeastern North Dakota, assist with the commercialization of autonomous systems innovations and develop a workforce for the sector through internships and other experiential learning activities.
