Project Workflow Process
Thank you for trusting us with your work. Should you have questions during any point in the workflow process, please contact Susan Caraher, Director of Campus Client Services, at 701.777.6796.
Start your project by completing the online Project Request Form. This form must be completed before a project can begin. The form serves as a creative brief that helps you think through your project and helps us understand your expected outcomes. If you are uncertain about what you need and want help sorting out the possibilities, please contact Susan Caraher , Director of Campus Client Services, at 701.777.6796.
Once a Project Request Form has been submitted, our Project Review Team will then review the request. Please note that due to staffing limitations, it may not be possible for us to fill all requests. We will make every effort to meet as many needs as possible. In evaluating projects, the following factors will be considered:
– Alignment with University mission, strategy and goals.
– Resources required – time, equipment and people.
– Timing – duration of the project and whether is occurs in conjunction with other time-intensive projects.
Depending on the scope and scale of your project, a kick-off meeting with your creative team may be held to clarify your goals. Smaller projects are often launched with a simple phone conversation with the Senior Project Manager. A detailed and mutually agreeable schedule will be created for your project.
The Production Process
The creative team assigned to your project will create designs and body copy that help achieve your communications goals. Please note all projects will strictly adhere to the UND Identity Guidelines and will follow the Associated Press Stylebook writing guidelines unless otherwise specified.
Typically, you can expect to see two proofs of your project. Please carefully review the body copy, spelling of names, and contact information. Please make necessary content changes early in the process. Making substantial edits during the proofing stage could alter the layout and delay the project.
The responsible party will be required to sign off to close out the project. After the project is closed, no additional alterations can be made.
