Conference Location and Accessibility

All events are free and open to the public. In-person events during the three-day literary festival will be held in UND's Memorial Union, an accessible facility. Live-captioning is provided during the live-streamed events. Read more about accessibility and accommodations at the UND Writers Conference.

Parking for the 56th Annual UND Writers Conference

The official parking location for the UND Writers Conference is the parking ramp at the intersection of University Avenue and Columbia Road.

The UND Writers Conference is pleased to provide parking for our community members, off-campus guests, and alumni for all three days of the conference, exclusively in the parking ramp. (UND faculty, students, and staff will need to park in their regularly designated lots.)

Conference Donors and Support

The 56th Annual UND Writers Conference is supported, in part, by the North Dakota Council on the Arts and the City of Grand Forks Arts Regrant program. Additional support for the UND Writers Conference comes from the Estate of Alice Lillian Carlson, the Kemen/Randall Family Writers Conference Endowment, the John Little Memorial Endowment, the Jackie McElroy-Edwards and Tom Edwards Writers Conference Endowment, the Sam A.
