Blackboard

Blackboard is UND's Learning Management System connecting students, faculty and staff both inside and outside of the classroom. It is used for courses, organizations, committees, departments and groups.

Starting Fall 2025, all of UND's Blackboard courses will be created in Blackboard Learn - Ultra Course View. Some courses and organizations may still utilize Blackboard Learn - Original Course View while they are transitioned to Ultra Course View. For assistance with any Original Course View functions, please review the appropriate Blackboard Help Support Pages below.

Blackboard Ultra Course View

Blackboard Ultra Course View (UCV) is the new, more modern, and more accessible course experience for students and instructors. UND will be transitioning to UCV over the next several semesters and will have a full transition of courses for the Fall 2025 semester. All Blackboard organization sites will need to be transitioned to Ultra by December 2025.

Blackboard Ultra Course Experience

Instructors can preview and convert their summer 2025 courses to UCV or submit a request. All Fall 2025 courses have been created in the Ultra Course View format.
