Community Craft Sessions
The UND Writers Conference is excited to offer our attendees the opportunity to participate in small-group workshop and craft sessions, led by our featured authors, writers, and artists in the UND campus community.
This year, we are thrilled to offer our attendees craft sessions led by fiction writers and poets featured at the "Fables & Futures" conference on March 25–27, 2026. The craft sessions will offer our attendees the opportunity to meet and informally discuss creative writing with our featured authors, or to participate in some low-stakes workshop activities.
This year, we will also have a session on query letters and publishing, led by literary agent Penelope Burns. Additional workshops on creative nonfiction and art will be led by writers and artists from the UND faculty.
In addition to the community craft sessions, we are pleased to offer our attendees in-person gallery tours of the North Dakota Museum of Arts exhibitions. The gallery tours will be led by Anna Arnar, Curator of Contemporary and Modern Art at the NDMOA.
We kindly ask that attendees interested in attending one or more of the community craft sessions register for in-person attendance at this spring's Writers Conference. These sessions are capped at 20 individuals,
