Building Your Dream Team: Practical Plays for Hiring, Training, & High-Performance

A two hour CE course explores practical strategies to attract, hire, train, and retain exceptional team members.

  • Course cost is $25, which includes tuition and online learning materials.

  • Watch the powerpoint slideshow presentation.
  • Complete graded learning activities that will advance your knowledge, sharpen your skills and directly apply to your professional practice.
  • Complete a quiz at the end of the course.
  • Print your documentation of continuing education completion for your records.

Course at a Glance

  • This course equips Certified Dietary Managers, Certified Food Protection Professionals (CDM, CFPP) with practical strategies to attract, hire, train, and retain exceptional team members. This course explores how intentional leadership, onboarding, and workplace culture directly impact employee engagement, performance, and retention. This course explores how intentional leadership, onboarding, and workplace culture directly impact employee engagement, performance, and retention. Participants will gain actionable tools to build strong, motivated teams that deliver consistent, high-quality service.
  • By the end of the course, students will be able to describe at least three effecting hiring and onboarding strategies for dietary staff; identify methods for implementing structured ongoing training and competency validation; apply coaching and mentoring techniques to improve staff performance; recognize motivational factors that influence retention in dietary departments; and develop at least two action steps to strengthen team culture and communication.
  • Students will have access to this online course for up to six (6) months.
  • Upon completion of the course you will be able to print documentation of completion for two hours of General CE.
  • You have 6 months from your enrollment date to access this course. There are no refunds and no extensions offered.
