• This course equips Certified Dietary Managers, Certified Food Protection Professionals (CDM, CFPP) with practical strategies to attract, hire, train, and retain exceptional team members. Participants will gain actionable tools to build strong, motivated teams that deliver consistent, high-quality service.
• By the end of the course, students will be able to describe at least three effecting hiring and onboarding strategies for dietary staff; identify methods for implementing structured ongoing training and competency validation; apply coaching and mentoring techniques to improve staff performance; recognize motivational factors that influence retention in dietary departments; and develop at least two action steps to strengthen team culture and communication.
• Students will have access to this online course for up to six (6) months.
• Upon completion of the course you will be able to print documentation of completion for two hours of General CE.
