- Practitioner Training – Leading with Emotional Intelligence for the CDM, CFPP provides an in-depth exploration of emotional intelligence (EI) and its impact on leadership success in Food and Nutrition Services. This course examines the core components of EI including self-awareness, self-regulation, motivation, empathy, and social skills while connecting these concepts to ethical leadership, communication, team development, and regulatory compliance. Through engaging videos, reflective activities, and practical leadership applications, participants will learn strategies to strengthen workplace relationships, improve team performance, navigate challenging situations, and lead with confidence and compassion in today’s healthcare environment.
- Students will have access to this online course for up to six (6) months.
- Upon completion of the course, you will be able to print documentation of completion for 45 hours of continuing education (1 hr of ethics, 9 hrs of sanitation and safety, and 35 hours of general CE) to meet your 3-year certification period.
