Medical Terminology: A Short Course

A 10 hour CE course, providing a comprehensive introduction and overview of medical terminology.

The University of North Dakota provides a variety of ten hour, CBDM approved, CE (continuing education) courses that will assist you in meeting your required training; and maintaining your CDM, CFPP credential.

With independent study courses you can enroll anytime and work at your own pace.
Course cost is $100, which includes tuition and online learning materials.

Read and complete the textbook learning exercises.
Complete a quiz at the end of each lesson. There are a total of 5 lessons in the course.
Print your certificate of completion for your records.

Medical Terminology: A Short Course will help the CDM, CFPP understand medical terms used in clinical charting and will enhance clinical knowledge as an integral member of the interdisciplinary team.
Students will have access to this online course for up to six (6) months.
Upon completion of the course you will be able to print a certificate of completion for ten hours of CE.
