The Behavioral Health certificate gives students studying in fields such as Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Pre-Medicine, Speech Language Pathology, Nursing and Social Work a better understanding of how social, cultural, psychological and biological factors contribute to health and health behaviors.

Why Study Behavioral Health at UND?
Psychology gives us insight into human behavior, and a Behavioral Health certificate provides further knowledge about how health care provider-patient interactions, behavior modification and therapy can change behaviors to promote health and well-being.
Courses are offered through UND's Department of Psychology, which is top-rated with professors from a variety of backgrounds and research areas.
To complete the certificate, you'll be required to complete a minimum of nine credit hours in a variety of topics, which translate to a number of fields, giving you options in your career goals.
