The process for transfer credit evaluation at UND involves a collaborative review by the Registrar’s Office and the College of Engineering & Mines faculty to determine how previously taken courses align with a student's intended degree program. Admitted students' courses are assessed using the Transfer Equivalency System and for courses not listed, advisors may request additional materials for faculty review to establish equivalency.
Students can get a waiver for up to 12 courses/labs based on work experience related to civil engineering, prior course work, and/or certification by building a portfolio through CE 102-Professional Assessment and Evaluation.
