Why Study Educational Leadership at UND?
Designed for licensed teachers with at least three years of teaching experience, the M.Ed. in Educational Leadership prepares you for school administrative positions at the elementary, middle or secondary level.
The program combines theory and practice in a scholar-practitioner model. Our innovative curriculum encompasses coursework in educational foundations, research, and core topics such as curriculum and education law.
In completing the M.Ed. degree, you will also have the potential to complete the requirements for the North Dakota principal credential at either the elementary or secondary level.
The program is offered on campus at UND and on the Bismarck campus.
The Specialist Diploma in Educational Leadership program is approved by the North Dakota Educational Standards and Practices Board. All educator preparation programs at the University of North Dakota are accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP).
