100% Online R.N. to B.S.N.
You can earn your degree from the University of North Dakota while you continue to live and work in your own community. Your transcript and diploma will look the same as for a student who graduated from UND by taking traditional on-campus courses.
You’ll receive the convenience of online learning with the personal contact and connection of being with classmates through online tools – ways of communicating across distances, connecting to others and their ideas, and presenting information.
The entire degree program is offered online; you’re not required to come to campus at any time.
Clinical Hours
Clinicals may be completed in your local community, depending on the specific board of nursing regulations in your state. The Public Health Nursing Clinical course requires daytime clinicals hours.
- Combine theory and actual practice through clinical experiences in a public health setting.
- Complete clinical hours in a community near you (some exceptions may apply).
Important! UND may not be able to accommodate clinical experiences in some states due to specific state board of nursing regulations. Please contact the UND College of Nursing & Professional Disciplines for guidance on this issue.
Online Courses
You’ll have a variety of ways for interacting in online classes when and where you choose. Depending on the instructor, you may:
- Access course materials, assignments and recorded lectures
- Communicate with instructors and classmates
- Use UND’s student support services such as online tutoring, digital library, tech support and advising services
- Take supervised (proctored) exams either in your local community or using ProctorU.
