Conference Session Proposals

Submit a session proposal by September 13, 2024.

Proposals

We encourage scholars to submit symposia, papers, and posters along the conference theme, but welcome all presentations contributing to the research and practice of equity and inclusion in education and beyond.

  • 50 - minute poster sessions
  • 50 - minute student poster sessions
  • 50 - minute symposium sessions
  • 50 - minute presentation sessions

Students, faculty, staff, higher education professionals, counselors, psychologists, social scientists, and scholars are welcome to submit proposals for sessions in all conference topic areas and session formats. An individual may submit a maximum of two proposals to be considered for this conference. Multiple proposal submissions by an individual to this conference that are similar or redundant are not permitted.

  • Mentorship/supervision for underserved student communities
  • Inclusion and belonging considerat in the workforce
  • Supporting Indigenous training and research in higher education

Presenter Requirements

  • Presenters must be able to attend the UND Multicultural Conference in-person and be available to present at any day/time during the conference.
  • All presenters must register for the conference by September 20, 2024.
  • The corresponding author is responsible for informing all co-presenters on the status of their conference submission. The conference staff will only send information regarding any acceptance, rejection, scheduling and any other needed information or changes to the corresponding author via the corresponding author's email.
  • Presenters may not be listed on more than two (2) submissions for this conference.
