Student Diversity & Inclusion focuses on creating an equitable, inclusive, and welcoming campus for all students.
We value the richness of our different cultures, identities, beliefs and perspectives each person brings to our campus community.
Student Diversity & Inclusion provides support for American Indian/Alaskan Native/Indigenous, Asian/Asian Pacific Islander, Desi American, Black/African American, Chicano/Hispanic/Latina/o/x, and LGBTQIA students. Support services include identity and cultural specific needs in addition to academic and resource support. Connect with staff by visiting the office, by email, or through Starfish.
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Education
Students have the opportunity to engage in various diversity, equity and inclusion education. This includes participating cultural and identity events, attending speaker presentations, emgaging in identity specific discussion groups, or developing skills and knowledge in workshops and trainings.
UND offers scholarships to promote enrollment of a culturally diverse student body, including members of Indigenous tribes and economically disadvantaged students

The American Indian Center is a gathering place for students to learn about Indigenous culture, study, hangout, hold meetings, and more. The Center has a computer lab, a meditation space, lounge area, and conference room available for student use. The American Indian Center is located at 315 Princeton Street.
The Pride Center is a gathering place for students to hangout, study, hold meetings, and more! Student Diversity & Inclusion staff are here to provide support resources to LGBTQIA students.
