Pathway II is appropriate for candidates who hold a two-year or four year college degree in foodservice management, nutrition, culinary arts, or hotel-restaurant management. Transcripts are submitted with the exam application. Transcript requirements must include a minimum of one course in nutrition and two courses in foodservice management.
This Pathway II option allows you to choose one, two or three of the required courses to fulfill your eligibility requirements along with your degree. Go here to review requirements. Students completing UND training routinely exceed the national average pass rate for the CBDM credentialing exam.

Earn Your CDM, CFPP Credential Online
Become a Dietary Manager. To earn your CDM, CFPP credential you'll need to pass the CDM Credentialing Exam offered through the Certifying Board for Dietary Managers (CBDM).
UND’s Pathway II Dietary Manager Training prepares you for the CDM Credentialing Exam through self-paced lessons that are designed to work around your busy schedule. You complete your course online. You'll "attend class" wherever and whenever it's convenient for you!
Once you have successfully completed the Pathway II Training required coursework and meet all current CBDM eligibility requirements, you're eligible to take the CDM Credentialing Exam. The exam is offered year-round using computer based testing.
