Graduate Student Orientation

The School of Graduate Studies welcomes new and current graduate students to campus.

New Graduate Student Online Orientation

The School of Graduate Studies hosts a New Graduate Student Orientation in a completely online, self-paced format.

Through the online program, new graduate students will be provided with information to help them prepare for, and navigate through, the first year of their graduate education. The program will also introduce new students to available resources on campus including but not limited to:

  • One Stop Student Services
  • Chester Fritz Library
  • Community & Belonging
  • Center for Innovation
  • Teaching Transformation & Development Academy
  • Computational Research Center

Additional information will be provided to help students learn how to maximize their graduate experience.

Logging Into Orientation

New and returning graduate students are now able to access the online Orientation program for the 2024-2025 academic year. To access the portal, complete the following steps:

  1. Claim Account and Confirm Enrollment: If you haven't already done so, you must claim your NDUS account and accept your offer at least two business days before you'll be able to complete Step 2 of this process to log into the online Orientation program.
  2. Logging into Orientation: After claiming your account and confirming enrollment, you will be able to access the online Orientation portal.
    • Log into the Orientation program in the link below with your UND username and password.
    • The program will take approximately 30 minutes to complete and does not need to be completed in one sitting. Students can log back in to the program at any time and pick up where they left off.
