Minnesota Program Guides
Students transferring from one of Minnesota's MnSCU institutions will have satisfied UND's Essential Studies Requirements if one of the following conditions has been met during or after Spring 2002:
- The student has completed a Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, or an Associate of Arts degree at a MnSCU institution; or
- The student has completed the 39-44 credits of MnSCU General Education requirements (Minnesota Transfer Curriculum) as verified by the MnSCU institution.
Students who have completed the Associate of Science degree may be considered as satisfying UND's Essential Studies Requirements, but must provide UND with an official transcript indicating such completion, as not all MnSCU AS degrees require Minnesota Transfer Curriculum completion.
Students who do not meet one of these conditions will have their transfer credit evaluated for applicable Essential Studies transfer credit on an individual course-by-course basis.
North Dakota Program Guides

- The student has completed an Associate of Arts Degree (AA) or an Associate of Science Degree (AS).
- The student has completed the general education requirements at a GERTA partner institution and verification has been provided to UND by the transfer institution.
Students who do not meet one of these conditions will have their transfer credit evaluated for applicable Essential Studies transfer credit on an individual course-by-course basis.
