UND Testing Services
Testing Center Transitions
At the end of the Spring 2026 semester, UND will be transitioning to a new model for
providing testing services. This change is part of a planned and coordinated transition
designed to ensure continuity of service for students, programs, and the community.
As part of this transition, Prometric will be opening a new testing location in the
Grand Forks area, with an anticipated launch date of June 1 or soon thereafter. We
anticipate that all of the Prometric exams currently supported through the UND Testing
Center will be available in the new Prometric facility in town.
Testing services for students with approved disability-related testing accommodations will continue to be provided on campus. Beginning this summer,
these exams will be coordinated through UND’s Student Disability Resources and Academic
Support office to ensure a smooth and supported experience for students.
The UND Testing Center currently located in McCannel Hall will close at the end of
the Spring 2026 semester as these transitions take place. Beyond the Prometric exams,
the variety of other exams currently offered through UND’s Testing Center will all
continue to be available to programs and students and community members who need such
testing.
If you have questions about the transition or about a specific exam or testing service,
please contact Dr. Karyn Plumm, Vice Provost for Undergraduate Studies and Student
Success.
Our goal is to assist all clients, students and faculty in attaining their educational goals by providing comprehensive testing services.
