This session will focus on the alarming rise of syphilis cases in SD and the
public health interventions that have been used during the outbreak
response efforts.

Urban Indigenous Health Equity - Challenges and Successes

This session will focus on work in the American Indian community, discuss
ways to promote healthy lifestyles in urban and rural tribal areas, and will
also discuss health equity issues.

Harm Reduction

Health Equity Strategic Planning: Collective Action for Change

This session will focus on GFPH's Health Equity Strategic Plan and implementation, as well as other advancements their LPHU has made in the community towards Health Equity.

Concurrent Sessions:

Health Equity Training

This session will discuss general health equity training within that population.

Sexual Health in the American Indian Population

This session will discuss sexual health in the American Indian population.

HIV Outbreak Planning

This session will focus on planning and exercising a potential HIV outbreak
in North Dakota.

TB Investigation

This session will focus on a large TB investigation that occurred in a rural ND county.

Dinner & Closing Keynote Session:

Moving Beyond the Pandemic

This session will focus on lessons learned from the pandemic, what new
challenges are we facing, and how can we get individuals back into traditional public health programs such as HIV testing. The session will also highlight cultural competency and cultural humility.
