Midwest Big Data Hub
The University of North Dakota is a founding member of the Midwest Big Data Hub.
To accelerate the emerging field of Big Data science, the National Science Foundation (NSF) announced an award of $1.5M to the five founding institutions of the Midwest Big Data Hub (MBDH): Univ. of Illinois, University of North Dakota, University of Michigan, Indiana University, and Iowa State University.
States that makeup the MBDH region are ND, SD, MN, IA, NE, KS, MO, WI, IL, IN, MI, and OH. As a founding Co-PI institution, UND will play a major role in the direction and governance of the MBDH consortium and the coordination of its research projects and outreach activities.
