HPC Clusters
Medora - AI-Focused Cluster
UND CRC's newest high-performance cluster, Medora is a 16-node, Grace Hopper-powered AI engine built for speed, scale, and scientific discovery. With 72-core CPUs and advanced Hopper GPUs working in tandem, Medora delivers the performance needed to train innovative models and drive high-impact research.
Regular maintenance for Medora takes place on the first Wednesday of every month. Running jobs may be deleted. Please take care to submit jobs only if they will complete by that day.
Talon - High-Performance Computing Cluster
UND's CRC operates Talon, a high-performance computing system comprising a cluster of HPE compute nodes containing processors based on Intel SkyLake and CascadeLake architectures. Talon is available for use by UND faculty/student researchers and their collaborators.
Routine maintenance for Talon takes place on the second Thursday of every month. Running jobs may be deleted. Please take care to submit jobs only if they will complete by that day.
