Gershman Graduate Center
The Dr. Kathleen and Hal Gershman Graduate Center is anticipated to open Spring 2020.
A generous donation from Dr. Kathleen and Hal Gershman is enabling a full scale renovation of the Stone House building, located on the corner of Centennial and University Avenue. The new Gershman Graduate Center (GGC) will be a space dedicated to graduate students and programs, encouraging collaboration and connection for online and on campus students. Building renovations are anticipated to be complete Spring 2020.
Renovated Historic Building. New Vision.
The Stone House will be updated for technology throughout, with a variety of study and meeting spaces for workshops and professional development opportunities. The Gershman Graduate Center will house Master’s and Ph.D. defenses, speakers, research talks, social events, study groups and award recognitions. The building will build community among UND graduate students.
With the new space in mind, the School of Graduate Studies is working to expand their graduate student Professional Development Series by offering new and substantive credentialing workshops. This generously donated building will have a positive effect on graduate program recruitment and current student retention.
