Professional Development, Planning and Workshops
The School of Graduate Studies is excited to offer a series of Professional Development and Career Planning workshops for graduate students throughout the academic year. Beginning in fall 2018, we will offer workshop participants a digital badge credential for attending the workshop and completing a learning assessment at the end of the workshop. After each workshop, the digital badges will be made available for download to qualifying participants, who can then upload them to LinkedIn and many other social media platforms as an employment credential.
Graduate Students who attend the graduate school workshops through the academic year will be automatically entered to win graduate school related promo items and gift cards. The more workshops you attend, the greater your chances of winning! Snacks and beverages will be provided during every workshop.
Online and Distance Students
In an effort to effectively enhance the support and student experience for our online students and distance students, each workshop will be made available in real time through Zoom and as a posted recording after the workshop. The learning assessment necessary to receive the digital badge credential will also be made available to our online and distance students.
