Blackboard is UND's Learning Management System connecting students, faculty and staff both inside and outside of the classroom. It is used for courses, organizations, committees, departments and groups.

Blackboard Learn Ultra Course View (UCV) is a modern, intuitive, and personalized Blackboard Learn user experience. Learn Ultra is characterized by simplified workflows and an accessible, fully responsive design—making it easier than ever to teach and learn from any device.

UND will fully transition courses to Blackboard Ultra in Fall 2025. All Blackboard organization sites will need to be transitioned to Ultra by December 2025. For more information visit the Ultra Features and Transition Timeline webpage.
