2025 Vigilant Parent Initiative Training

As a follow up from the 2024 online Fall Festival training session on "From Awareness to Action: Equipping Foster Care Providers to Safeguard Against Internet Risks", we are excited to offer Vigilant Parent Initiative (VPI) training in two locations.

The Vigilant Parent Initiative is a two-hour, hands-on instructional program specifically designed for parents with children in middle school and adult professionals working with middle schoolers. In a hands-on classroom setting, the trainers will explore the uses and potential dangers of social media apps with attendees. The information from this program will help parents, caregivers, and educators take more active roles in keeping children safe.
