North Dakota’s Safety Framework Practice Model strives to:
- Increase consistency in North Dakota's child welfare practice,
- Provide a clear definition of safety,
- Establish set criteria for removal as well as reunification, and
- Identify and build protective capacities in parents and caregivers.
