Safety Framework Practice Model Foster Care Provider Training

Online SFPM Learning Module

ND Safety Framework Practice Model is the Safety Assessment and Family Evaluation Model (SAFE) developed by Action for Child Protection (©2025 Action for Child Protection. All rights reserved.) This online self-paced training is eligible for one hour of credit for continuing education for all licensed foster care providers. To document your education credit you will be prompted at the end of the training to type your name (or names if a two caregiver household where both providers viewed the live training) and a certificate will be created for you to take a photo on your phone or screenshot on your device. This is a highly encouraged training to view as this new model of practice that is directing all of our North Dakota child welfare safety decisions regarding child placement and level of agency involvement. Please reach out to your licensor regarding any questions you may have regarding this training.
