Online B.S.E.E. students can complete lab work remotely by purchasing lab kits. The kits contain the components and equiment needed to complete hands-on circuit, electronics and embedded systems exercises, with no on-campus lab visit required.
The B.S.E.E. is a standalone bachelor's degree that requires 126 credits. The combined B.S./M.Eng. program allows qualifiying students to double-count certain courses and work toward a bachelor's and master's degree more efficiently. If you're only pursuing a bachelor's degree, the B.S.E.E. is the right program. If you plan to conitnue into graduate study, the combined program can help you save time.
